To the Jewish Community of Germany: As a member of the World Jewish Congress, American Section, I stand in heartfelt solidarity with you as you face a deeply disturbing rise of antisemitic and racist hatred and neo-Nazi extremism in your country, while the AfD party continues to stoke hatred and division. I share the WJC’s belief that “all Jews are responsible for each other.” Working to stop the vile hatred infecting your nation is the responsibility of all Jews and all people of good will around the world. And that is why the World Jewish Congress has signed onto the Joint Declaration Against the AfD.
